What is Breathwork?

It's more than you think

Breathwork is an umbrella term for a wide range of breathing techniques and protocols designed to support physical, emotional, and mental wellbeing. From calming practices that regulate the nervous system to capacity building for health and sport; and deeper, more transformational breathwork journeys that help process stored emotions and trauma.

Relaxing and powerful

Breathwork will relax you whilst also going beyond relaxation. By changing how you breathe, you change how you feel, how you think, and how your body responds to stress, trauma, and daily life.

In a breathwork session, I’ll guide you to use your breath as a bridge into your body, into your emotions, and into the parts of you that are ready to be heard, held, and healed.

Conscious Connected Breathwork is a gentle but powerful portal into:

  • Healing grief and emotional wounds
  • Improving functional breathing, energy levels, and sleep
  • Processing stored tension and trauma from the body
  • Gaining insight into patterns that no longer serve you
  • Accessing deeper levels of clarity, creativity, and inner guidance
  • Shifting habits, behaviours, and inner resistance
  • Creating a grounded, embodied sense of self
  • Finding calm, clarity, and a felt sense of safety
  • Strengthening emotional resilience and nervous system balance
  • Reconnecting with your inner wisdom and intuition
  • Cultivating presence, self-trust, and compassion

  • Timings – Morning breathwork sets the tone for the day, short resets at midday restore energy, and evening practices support restful sleep.

This is the therapeutic form of breathwork where the inhale and exhale are joined in a continuous, circular flow. Practised sitting or laying down, with guidance, it allows deep patterns that are held in the body and subconscious to surface and release.

  • Integration – Helps process unresolved emotions, trauma, and limiting beliefs.

  • Healing – Opens pathways to greater self-awareness, release, and inner peace.
  • Transformation – Can lead to profound insights, clarity, creativity and a sense of wholeness.

Whether you're carrying something heavy, feeling stuck, or simply curious about what lies beneath the surface, breathwork can offer you a safe and transformative way in.
